The application window for the Post-UTME screening exercise at FUTO officially opens on 1 September 2023 and will conclude on 30 September 2023.
FUTO Admission Requirements: Criteria for Post-UTME and Direct Entry Candidates
For Post-UTME Aspirants
Candidates seeking admission through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) must have attained a minimum score of 160.
For Direct Entry Applicants
Those applying for Direct Entry must be in possession of an OND, HND, First Degree or an A’ Level qualification in a discipline and subjects germane to their chosen field of study.
Special Provision for Non-First Choice Candidates
Candidates who initially did not select FUTO as their institution of first choice but have scored a minimum of 160 in their UTME can also apply. However, they must first amend their choice of institution via the JAMB website: Change of Institution.

Payment and Registration Steps
Eligible candidates must first pay a processing fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00). Below are the steps to facilitate your application:Visit FUTO’s official website: FUTO Website
Navigate to the ‘Prospective Students’ section.
Select the ‘2023/2024 POST-UTME/Direct Entry Application’ link.
Input your JAMB Registration Number to generate a Payment Invoice containing the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
Take the invoice to any bank for payment or complete the transaction using an ATM card.
Return to the application webpage and re-enter your JAMB Registration Number.
Complete the application form diligently.
Accurately enter your O’Level results.
Review all entries for accuracy.
Finalise and submit your application.
Print the acknowledgment slip for your records.
Await further communication from FUTO.
Additional Instructions for Uploading Credentials
Candidates who successfully complete the registration process will be granted a link to upload their O’Level credentials for the screening exercise.
Nature and Structure of the Screening Exercise
Basis of Assessment
The Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening for the 2023/2024 academic session will be contingent on validated JAMB scores and WAEC/GCE/NECO results uploaded on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
