Who Is Eligible for UNIMED’s Supplementary Post-UTME?
Eligibility Criteria for Prospective Students
Candidates who have designated the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, as either their first or second choice in the 2023 UTME and have scored a minimum of 150 are deemed eligible for the Post-UTME screening. Additionally, aspirants who did not initially choose UNIMED but are willing to switch their choice to this esteemed institution are also welcome to apply.
For academic prerequisites, candidates must possess five credit passes in relevant O-Level subjects in a single sitting for the MBBS/BDS programme, or at most two sittings for other faculties. These must include English Language and Mathematics. Furthermore, direct entry applicants aiming for Medicine and Surgery or Dentistry courses who either possess a minimum of 10 points in relevant ‘A’ level subjects or hold a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Basic Medical or Biological Sciences with at least a Second Class (Lower Division) are also eligible.
For the UTME prerequisites, most courses across all faculties require candidates to have credits in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. For candidates opting for Mathematics-related courses, credits in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology are necessary.

Your Pathway to Successfully Completing UNIMED’s Post-UTME ApplicationNavigate to the official University website: www.unimed.edu.ng
Click on the ‘Admission’ tab.
Access the ‘Post-UTME’ portal.
Select ‘PAYMENT’ to proceed with your online payment using either a VISA or MASTER Card (Note: VERVE Cards are not accepted).
Print your payment receipt.
Return to the ‘Post-UTME Portal’, click on ‘Application Form’ and use your UTME Registration Number and Payment Transaction ID as the password to fill out the screening form.
