AAU Science and Humanities Degree Form 2023


AAU invites applications for its 2021/2022 Science and Humanities (DSH) Undergraduate Degree Programmes. Various courses are offered across the faculties of Arts, Education, Management Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Social Sciences, each with specific admission requirements. Programmes last for 5 years for regular degrees, and 4 years for direct entry. Applications are to be submitted online between 26th June and 31st July, 2023. Result slips older than 2015 and awaiting results are not accepted.

Admission Requirements:
Candidates are required to possess SSCE/NECO/TC II/NABTEB with 5 credit passes at not more than two sittings, including English Language.

Note:For admission into programme B(2), candidates also require a credit pass in Mathematics.
For admission into programme B(3 & 4), candidates need credit passes in both English and Mathematics.
For Direct Entry admission into programme B, a Minimum of Merit pass in a relevant Diploma/NCE Programme of a recognized University or Institution is required.

Candidates are required to possess SSCE/NECO/GCE (O/L) NABTEB at not more than two sittings with 5 credit passes in:Mathematics

Any other two Social Science subjects from Commerce, Geography, Accounting, etc.

For Public Administration, an additional credit pass in Government is required.
D. FACULTY OF PHYSICAL SCIENCESB.Sc. Computer Science
Admission Requirements:
Candidates are required to possess SSCE/NECO/GCE (O/L) NABTEB at not more than two sittings with 5 credit passes in:English Language
Mathematics
Physics
Any other two from Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economics, Further Mathematics, and Agricultural Science.

Admission Requirement:
Candidates are expected to possess SSCE/NECO/GCE O/L in not more than two sittings with 5 credit passes in:English Language
Mathematics
Economics
Any other Social Science subjects.

Candidates seeking admission into B.Sc. Economics must have a credit pass in Economics.Candidates seeking admission into Criminology must have a credit pass in Government.
Note: For admission into programmes E(2) and (3), a pass in Mathematics is acceptable.
General Information and Requirements
Degree Programme DurationFIVE YEARS DEGREE PROGRAMMESRequirements: Candidates should possess SSCE/WASC/ASC/NECO/GCE/TC II etc. with 5 credit passes at not more than two sittings, including English Language and other Departmental and Faculty Requirements.
Admission Process: Candidates are expected to write an entrance examination to be considered for admission.
DIRECT ENTRY: FOUR YEARS DEGREE PROGRAMMESRequirements: For Direct Entry admission, candidates must possess:At least two (2) A/Level papers, NCE, or equivalent (at an acceptable level).
Diploma Certificate (not less than Merit Grade) in related areas.
SSCE/NCE/GCE (O/L) with 5 credit passes at not more than two sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, and other Departmental Requirements.
DURATIONFIVE YEARS: Candidates with SSCE/NECO/GCE (O/L) seeking admission into any programme will spend five years.
DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES: Admitted Direct Entry candidates will spend four years.
General InformationAll candidates with O/L results from before 2015 must present the original certificates, not statement of results slips.
All completed application forms should be accompanied with:Passport size photograph
Photocopies of credentials
Photocopy of receipt of purchase of application form.

NOTE: Cases of awaiting results are not entertained.

Candidates should apply through the online portal at AAU Application.

The application form is N25,000.00 (Twenty Five Thousand Naira only).

The application forms will be available for purchase, completion, and submission from Monday 26th June, 2023, to Monday 31st July, 2023.
