ABU Admission Requirements for 2024
The requirements for people wishing to apply for admission to ABU through JAMB (UTME) are as follows:
1. A minimum of 5 credits in the Ordinary Level Credits of the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) in no more than two sittings.
2. You must choose the proper JAMB subject combination for your course.
3. Candidates must obtain a minimum score of 180 on the recently concluded JAMB UTME exam in order to be accepted to Ahmadu Bello University.
4. Your initial pick for a university should be ABU.
5. You must take part in the ABU POST UTME/SCREENING to be eligible for admission if any is offered for the year.
6. The candidate’s age must be at least sixteen.
ABU Requirements for Direct Entry (DE) 2024
The prerequisites for applicants seeking direct entry admission to Ahmadu Bello University are as follows:
1. A minimum of 5 credits in the Ordinary Level Credits of the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) in no more than two sittings.
2. Candidates must have completed two ‘A’ level or IJMB courses in subjects related to their field of study.
3. Passes relevant JUPEB/A Level topics.
4. A degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in a related field is required for your chosen course.
5. Direct entry applicants must obtain the ABU Direct Entry form from the ABU Portal and the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
6. Passed with a minimum of merit the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), and other Advanced Level Certificates.
