The Crucial Aspects of FUNAAB’s 2023/2024 Admission Exercise
General O’Level Requirements:Must have at least five (5) O’Level Credits in relevant subjects.
The credits should be obtained in one or two exam sittings such as SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
Before applying, review FUNAAB’s Brochure here to check specific degree requirements.
UTME Candidates:Must have selected FUNAAB as their top preferred institution on the JAMB form.
Have taken the 2023/2024 UTME and scored a minimum of 160 marks.
Specific Program Requirements:Agriculture, Engineering, Biosciences, Physical Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine:Need five (5) SSC Credits in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology from up to two sittings.
Agricultural programs accept a Pass in Physics.
A Pass in Biology and a Credit in Agricultural Science is only acceptable for Agricultural courses.
Agricultural Science isn’t a substitute for Biology.
Water Resources Management candidates need a Credit in Geography.
Entrepreneurial Studies:Need five (5) O’level Credits in English, Mathematics, Biology or Agricultural Science, a vocational/science subject, and any of Economics, Geography, or another commercial subject.
Instructions:After filling the application form, frequently check for updates on admission.
Refunds will not be given for unsuccessful admissions. Ensure you meet requirements before payment.
Direct Entry Screening for FUNAAB:Candidates must have a minimum of Upper-Credit or its equivalent.
Must have chosen FUNAAB as their top institution in JAMB.
Ensure that you meet the O’Level, OND, NCE, or HND requirements before paying. Non-refundable if requirements aren’t met.
Direct Entry Specific Program Requirements:Agriculture, Engineering, Biosciences, Physical Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine:Beyond O’Level, must have UPPER CREDIT at ND or HND and CREDIT at NCE.
Must have at least two A-Level/IJMB/JUPEB passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology/Zoology/Botany.
Entrepreneurial Studies:Beyond O’Level requirements, need UPPER CREDIT at OND/HND or CREDIT at NCE in a related field.
Alternatively, two (2) A’level passes or equivalent in Mathematics, Economics, and other Commercial, Vocational, or Science subjects are acceptable.

Note: FUNAAB doesn’t accept LOWER CREDIT for Direct Entry.
Transcript Submission Deadline:DE candidates must submit their transcript or certified Statement of Results to the Registrar, FUNAAB by Friday, 1st September, 2023.
Reminder:No refunds will be given for lost admission offers. Ensure you meet the requirements before paying for admission acceptance.
Applying for FUNAAB Post UTME Form

The application process is rather simple and can be completed online. Detailed instructions on how to apply, make payments and submit the required documents are available on the FUNAAB admission portal. It is noteworthy that correction of wrongly entered data attracts a penalty fee.




Application Process:Visit “Login” on this page.
Input your JAMB UTME or JAMB Direct Entry Registration Numbers.
Generate and print your Application Invoice which includes the REMITA Reference Number and other relevant details.
Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000.00 (excluding REMITA charges) at any bank that accepts REMITA payment or online through debit cards, Internet Banking, or directly on the REMITA website.
Once paid, return to the University’s Admission Portal, log in, and fill out the e-application form accurately.
Review your personal information (sourced from JAMB) and add necessary details where required.
Review your application on the acknowledgment page before submitting.
Print and retain the Application Form featuring your passport photograph.
Application Period:Starts: Thursday, 20th July, 2023
Ends: Friday, 15th September, 2023
Corrections:Altering wrongly entered data costs ₦1,000 and can be made online until the application closes.
Incorrect O’Level, UTME, and other result uploads will result in disqualification.

Direct Entry (DE) candidates must submit their transcript or a certified copy of their results to the Registrar, FUNAAB by Friday, 1st September, 2023.
Only complete applications submitted before the deadline will be reviewed.
Ensure you meet the admission criteria before payment. Non-compliance leads to a withdrawn offer and non-refundable fees.
