About LASUSTECH
In Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria, there is a recently founded university called the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH). They established the University in February 2023.
This was accomplished by the former Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH), which was converted by the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

On February 12, 2023, Lagos State Governor Babajide appointed Dr. Oluremi Olaleye as the temporary Vice-Chancellor Sanwo-Olu.
As a result, Dr. Oluremi Olaleye was appointed as LASUSTECH’s first vice-chancellor.

LASUSTECH Admission Requirements
1. Candidates must have completed the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) with at least five (5) credit passes.
Alternatively, to be admitted to the 100-Level via the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), you must have an equivalent in the relevant subjects, including the English Language, in no more than two sittings.
2. Score a specific amount of points in the UTME that the university specifies to JAMB.
3. Candidates must ace the Post-UTME administered by the university.
