Marist Polytechnic Admission Requirements 2023/2024




Candidates who apply for admission into Marist Polytechnic must Possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in related subjects including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings in exams such as WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB.


Marist Polytechnic Admission Requirements

The Management of the Marist Polytechnic, Umuchigbo, Iji-Nike, Emene Enugu State has stated that all Applicants are to take notes of these Admission Requirements before Applying for Admission.

If you are a Marist Polytechnic (Marist Poly) aspirant for the 2023/2024 academic year, the first thing to do is to know their admission requirements before applying.

Applicants must have at least five credits including English Language and Mathematics. Below are the Marist Poly admission requirements through UTME;



1. Candidates must have reached the age of 16.
2. Candidates must have at least five (5) “(Credits)” in their O’level result(s).

3. Candidates must score at least 120 in the JAMB UTME examination.
Marist Polytechnic Admission Process

This is to inform the general public that Admission is now open into Full-time and Part-time programmes for the 2022/2023 session respectively.

Applications are requested from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Marist Polytechnic for the award of National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) respectively.

3. Banking and Finance

4. Computer Engineering

How to Apply for Admission into Marist Polytechnic

It is not news that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is a recognized body that conducts all admissions into the National Diploma (ND) programmes offered by Marist Polytechnic.


However, a potential candidate applying for the National Diploma programme should apply to JAMB for an application form. Writes the matriculation examination and based on his/her score in the examination, and other criteria that the Marist Polytechnic may lay down, such candidate may be offered provisional admission.

The final admission of the applicant depends on his/her meeting the minimum admission requirements as laid down by NBTE.

Marist Poly HND Admission Requirements

Entry requirements for admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes are a minimum of Lower Credits in National Diploma (ND) including one-year work experience or a Pass in ND, plus two (2) years of work experience.
