The Admission Management of the OLA College of Education (OLA) has released the Admission Form for the 2024 Academic year online.

Applicants must obtain at least a D (4) in six subjects. In addition, they must have passes in 3 subjects, one of the passes should be Grade D or better at the ´A´ Levels.

Applications are invited from qualified and interested candidates for OLA College of Education 2023/2024 admission.

2. Click on the “Admissions” tab and scroll to find the “Apply For Admission” button on the page.

3. Log in using your voucher serial number and PIN.

4. Fill out the OLA online application form and submit it online.
OLA College of Education Admission Requirements

OLA College of Education has specific admission requirements depending on your educational background.



Here are the general admission requirements for different applicant categories:
OLA WASSCE / SSSCE

1. WASSCE Holders: CREDIT PASSES (A1-C6) in Six (6) subjects, including Three (3) Core subjects (English Language and Core Mathematics) and Three (3) Elective subjects relevant to the course of study.

2. SSSCE Holders: PASSES (A-D) in Six (6) subjects, including Three (3) Core subjects (English Language and Core Mathematics) and Three (3) Elective subjects relevant to the course of study.

3. Candidates awaiting MAY/JUNE, WASSCE, and NABPTEX RESULTS can also apply.
OLA General Certificate of Education (GCE)

1. Have passes in three (3) subjects (at least one of them should be Grade D or better).



2. Have credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, a science subject (for non-science students) and an Arts subject (for science students).
OLA Advanced Business Certificate Examination (ABCE)

1. Have passes in three (3) subjects (at least one of them should be Grade D or better).

2. Have credit passes in five (5) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, or Social Studies in the General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE).

OLA Technical and Vocational Education and Training, TVET

1. TVET applicants should possess Certificate II in three relevant trade areas awarded by TEU, NVTI, City & Guilds, or other authorized awarding bodies.

2. They should also have NABPTEX Certificate II in relevant trade areas, in addition to three credit passes in WASSCE/SSSCE core subjects including English and Mathematics.



3. Alternatively, they can possess a National Certificate II qualification in Competency-Based Training (CBT) in a relevant trade area awarded by TEU on the National TVET Qualification Framework (NTVETQF).
OLA Foreign Students

1. Foreign students must undergo a qualification evaluation process by the National Accreditation Board (NAB) to determine equivalences and eligibility for admission to Ghanaian Teacher Education Institutions.

2. Qualifications such as the American SAT, TOEFL, and similar standardized tests cannot serve as standalone entry qualifications for Ghanaian tertiary educational institutions.

They may be required as supplementary documentation.
