University of Ilorin: To increase chances for Nigerians who desired a university degree and to contribute to the country’s fast-growing economy, Unilorin was established.

Formerly a modest institution with a limited selection of courses, Unilorin now enrolls approximately 48,000 undergraduate and over 5,000 postgraduate students in 90 academic programs spread over 15 faculties.

Agriculture, clinical and medical sciences, law, education, engineering and technology, physical sciences, the arts, pharmaceutical science, social sciences, veterinary medicine, and management sciences are just a few of the available fields.
Brief History of the University of Ilorin

The University of Ilorin sometimes referred to as the top university in Nigeria, is a federally funded institution of higher learning situated in the capital city of the north-central Nigerian state of Kwara. In 1975, the university was established.

The student body and faculty at the University of Ilorin are quite vast and diversified in that they represent a range of ages, faiths, and cultural backgrounds. Students from every region of the nation are admitted to the university.

A wide range of master’s and undergraduate degree programs at the University of Ilorin provide courses in subjects like law, agriculture, medicine, science, education, the arts, management, and other social sciences.
